To Whom It May Concern: A few years ago while attending a Home & Garden Show in Portland, OR I walked by the booth of a company named “simplydumpit.com”. There was a wheelbarrow in front of the booth with strange handles on the ends of each standard wheel barrow handle and a man was demonstrating how much easier it was to roll and dump the wheelbarrow with these handles attached. Being a person who had used a wheelbarrow a few times over the years and therefore now avoided that task whenever possible I walked on by, but I stopped and looked back, and when I did the man demonstrating the handles noticed me and suggested I come give them a try….so I did. After trying these wheelbarrow handles for a few seconds I knew immediately that I had to have a pair, so I bought them. The handles are attached to the end of any wheelbarrow handles, swivel up and down and make it so much easier and more comfortable to push and dump a wheelbarrow that I was actually amazed. The few times I’ve used my wheelbarrow since I got these handles has honestly been kind of fun. Everything about these handles makes using a wheelbarrow easier and more enjoyable to use, and whenever others see me using my wheelbarrow I always get asked about them. I encourage people to try them or I demonstrate them myself. Everyone is always impressed and often end up ordering a pair for themselves. Recently my brother was at my home for a visit and noticed the handles on my wheelbarrow when looking in my garden shed. I let him try them out and he was very impressed. So I ordered him a pair for his birthday. What is prompting me to write this letter is the fact that I’m surprised that I haven’t seen these handles in stores. I look every time I walk by a wheelbarrow display in any hardware or home improvement store I may happen to be in. So when I called the company to order the pair for my brother I asked the gentleman on the phone why that was. He told me that they just haven’t been able to get buyers for any of the large home improvement or hardware store chains to take an interest. That really surprises me because these handles are a great product, developed in America by Americans and are designed to make the lives of those who use them easier. They just have to be tried to be believed. I believe if any store having a wheelbarrow display will install a pair of these “simplydumpit.com” handles on one of their wheelbarrows and position the wheelbarrow so that people walking by could actually try them out, most people who have that opportunity will buy these handles. Not only do they make any job requiring the use of a wheelbarrow easier, as odd as this may sound, they are also fun to use.
